Another achievement for our office in court

We filed a defamation lawsuit on behalf of our clients – the sons of a prominent public figure – due to a series of Defamatory publications about them and their family on Facebook.

The defendant in the case argued that the publications do not constitute defamation, and that – even if it is determined that they do constitute defamation – various defenses are available to him, including the truth of the publications' content and good faith.

In the defendant's cross-examination, we were able to completely refute his version of events, as well as his defense claims.

Following the submission of written summaries by the parties, the Magistrate's Court in Tel Aviv accepted our arguments and ordered the defendant to pay our clients compensation without proof of damage.

The compensation, In total of NIS 45,000, to which expenses and attorney's fees are added.
