We are pleased to update you on another significant victory for our office, within the framework of an appeal that took place at the District Court in Lod.
In what case are these words said? In a ruling issued by the Magistrate's Court in Rehovot, a claim we filed on behalf of a company that is a client of our firm was fully accepted. The claim was for a project in which the company served as a subcontractor for the installation of air conditioning systems in the new control tower at Ben Gurion Airport, against the main contractor on the project, which is one of the largest project execution companies in Israel whose shares are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The judgment ordered the main contractor to pay our client over 700,000 NIS., while completely rejecting the counterclaim filed by him.
The main contractor filed an appeal with the District Court of Lod, requesting that the judgment be canceled and their counterclaim be granted.
After our firm's response to the appeal was submitted, and at the end of a lengthy hearing, the panel of district court judges unanimously rejected the appeal, Left the verdict unchanged and ordered the main contractor to pay our client additional expenses totaling NIS 20,000.
