title-administrative_3

Administrative sentence

Administrative law deals with the points of intersection between the individual and various governmental authorities, including the state itself, government ministries, local authorities, statutory corporations, and other bodies, including courts, commissions of inquiry, and the State Comptroller.

Administrative law allows citizens and residents of the state to review, through administrative courts, the conduct, discretion, and decisions of various government authorities. This review is conducted according to a clear set of common rules to which these authorities are subject, beyond the specific sets of rules applicable to each authority (planning and building laws, tender laws, business licensing laws, occupation regulation laws, freedom of information laws, and so forth).
